Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Secure Paid VPN is operated and billed by RNS STAR LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of New York, United States, with registered office at 99 Wall Street #112, New York, NY 10005, USA. This policy applies to every purchase you make from us and forms part of our Terms of Service. Where the two differ on refunds, this page applies.
1. What you are paying for
Secure Paid VPN is sold as a subscription: $3.99 per month or $5.99 per year. A free plan is available and costs nothing. Every paid plan includes the same features — all locations, no ads, and up to 5 simultaneous connections.
2. Where you bought matters
How you cancel and who refunds you depends entirely on where the purchase was made:
- On the web — the subscription is billed by RNS STAR LLC through Stripe. It renews automatically until you cancel, and we handle cancellation and refunds.
- In the iOS or Android app — the subscription is billed by Apple or Google. It renews through your app-store account, and only Apple or Google can cancel or refund it. We cannot reverse a charge we never received.
3. Cancelling a web subscription
Sign in, open your account page, and cancel — or email support@securepaidvpn.com from your account address. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
4. Cancelling an app-store subscription
On iOS, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the next period is charged. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
5. Refunds — the 14-day window
For a web purchase, ask within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. This covers your first payment on a plan and a renewal you meant to cancel, provided the service has not been in substantial use during the new period.
For an app-store purchase, request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google Play. Their policies and windows apply, not ours. Tell us anyway and we will help you with the request.
6. If the service does not work
If you cannot connect, and we cannot fix it for you, we refund the current period in full — inside or outside the 14-day window. You should not pay for a VPN you could not use. Please give us a chance to help first: most connection problems are a network or device setting we can resolve in a single reply.
7. What is not refunded
- Periods already delivered, beyond the window in section 5.
- App-store purchases, which only Apple or Google can refund.
- Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms of Service — for example using the VPN for attacks, fraud or other unlawful activity.
- Repeat refund requests from the same person across successive purchases.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@securepaidvpn.com from the address on your account, with the date and amount of the charge. That is enough for us to find it. We reply within 1 business day. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days; your bank usually shows them 5–10 business days after that.
9. Do not recognise a charge?
Card charges from Secure Paid VPN appear on your statement as RNS STAR, LLC — the company that operates this service. If that name is unfamiliar, that is why. A charge from Apple or Google will appear under their name instead.
Please contact us before disputing with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and locks the money up for both of us; an email takes minutes. If the charge genuinely was not made by you, tell us: we will refund it and block that card from further use here.
