Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Secure Paid VPN account and the personal data we hold about you at any time, using whichever of the following methods is most convenient.

Option 1 — From the mobile app

1. Open the app on iOS (VPN Guard on the App Store) or Android.
2. If you use an email account, make sure you are signed in to the one you want to delete.
3. Tap Settings in the bottom navigation.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

The deletion is processed immediately.

Option 2 — From this website

1. Sign in at securepaidvpn.com/login.
2. Go to your Profile page.
3. Use the Delete account control in the Danger zone and confirm.

The deletion is processed immediately and you're signed out.

Option 3 — Request deletion (no sign-in needed)

If you can't sign in — for example you've forgotten your password or removed the app — submit the email address registered to your account and we'll delete it for you. We confirm the request against that email and complete the deletion within 7 days.

What happens when you delete your account

• Any active web subscription is cancelled immediately. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled separately from the device that purchased them — the deletion does not stop those auto-renewals.
• All of your subscription records are marked inactive.
• The devices linked to your account, their VPN keys and your free-plan records are deleted, and your VPN credentials are revoked, so the tunnel can no longer be established with your account.
• Your name, email, password hash, customer references, sign-up IP address and any Meta identifiers are erased from the account record.
• Your name and email are removed from your support tickets.

What we retain (and why)

• Subscription history, for up to seven years, for tax and accounting.
• The country and first three parts of the sign-up IP address, so that deleting an account cannot reset our free-plan abuse limits.
• Support messages, without your name or email, as support history.

Connection logs and app events about you are deleted on their normal schedule, within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for everything we collect and how long we keep it.
